Grief is a fearsome anger that God should allow the Fall
Grief is a hope eternal that He will right it all
Grief is the echo of love seeking love’s reunion
Grief is a holy ache, a longing for communion
Grief is a groaning emptiness which cannot by man be filled
Grief is a fragile trust, a faith in what God has willed
Grief is the loss of memories–of things so meant to be
Grief is the hope for memories made real in eternity
Grief is the cross of wood on which the Savior bled
Grief is the fire eternal, resurrection of the dead
And there is an end to grief for those who are in Christ, be it so distant, so hard to envision. What reason cannot accept, faith grasps with empty hands. The last enemy that will be destroyed is death.

Wonderful, simply wonderful!
Wow. This is beautiful. Grief can barely be verbalized. And sometimes it cannot but you’ve captured it so well. My favorite-what reason cannot accept, faith grasps with empty hands. Thank you for this.
